The US government frames a peaceful photographer. Photography is not a crime. This video shows the brutality of US marshals in Allentown, PA, the ability of state agents to frame peaceful people, and how the libertarian community can overcome the tyranny of a powerful central state.
The government cited the war on terror to justify their aggression so this quote seems apropos: "No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare."
--James Madison
Others are writing some excellent articles on this subject too. George Donnelly is giving his account of what happened in an article with the same title as this one. Read it here.
Darian Warden has written some very insightful commentary in No Pictures!
What I'd like to know is whether or not George's attorney requested courthouse exterior video in the discovery process and, if so, the outcome.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to see if George wants to answer that one. Thanks for the comment.
ReplyDeleteThis whole story has been unbelievable. I hope it jolts at least some people awake.

ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show how dangerous just talking to law enforcement has become.
Thanks for the comment.
I have security footage from two of their security cameras in my possession. However, attorney Paul Hetznecker says he only got discovery because of his connections, since he's been doing this awhile. In order to get the video from him, I made a voluntary agreement with him not to release it until the judge agrees to release it. I will be working hard to get that, and all other documents related to this case, released to the public as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteThanks George & good luck.
ReplyDeleteGeorge, I can't imagine the hell this has been for you. Thank you for taking a stand.
ReplyDeleteI think I was just reacting on instinct. The suddenness of their attack didn't afford me time to think. After that I just did what I could to get out.
