Lemonade and Raw Milk Rebels (Video)

They came to Washington DC from cities and small towns, from near and far, to break the law. Their crime? Selling raw milk and lemonade without permits nor licenses. Fortunately, the civil disobedience went well. Unlike last year the police didn't interfere and the protest went off with no one arrested.

  2. Christopher,

It's fixed, thanks for letting me know. That's what happens when amateurs start messing with html :-)

  3. Excellent! Any idea why no cop interference this year? Were they present at any time?

Mutual voluntary exchange is a concept that those in and promoting government have never considered or possibly not even heard. Voluntary credentialing is always possible for a provider to use & a consumer to consult.

  4. Thanks Kitty. The cops drove by so they knew what was up. The organizers said it was the large number of people there. I agree but think that is only part of the equation. There were also children there & one very pregnant woman. Not a group they look good arresting. & if one of them got hurt in front of our cameras it would be a PR disaster for them.

Also we were at the far end of the park this time not right in front of the capitol, making it easier for them to look the other way.

  5. Thanks, Darren, for the embellishment. I agree that having lots of ppl - of *all* ages - at a public demonstration especially of civil disobedience to Gov regs along with lots of cameras is a deterrent to all types of interference by "authorities". That same presence would also likely deter those non-enforcers (but maybe regulation-supporters) who are not opposed to becoming physical when mere words are exchanged... the type who have forgotten or never learned "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me".

Once again, congrats to all on a successful Lemonade (& raw milk) Freedom Day. More in the future ... till no longer necessary :)
