Jeremy Scahill is an investigative journalist, public speaker and award
winning author. Scahill's work focuses on the use of private military
companies. This is his speech given at the Brooklyn Peace Fair on April
28, 2012.
Scahilll is a Puffin Foundation Writing Fellow at The
Nation Institute and a frequent contributor to The Nation. He also
serves as a correspondent for the national radio and television program,
Democracy Now!
He is the author of the best-selling book,
Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army, which
won the George Polk Book Award.
